    i was always under the impression that you lose more MPH from spinning or letting of the gas than actual E.T loss. Ive seen tons of cars let off before the end of the 1/4 and the slip would not make sense,looking something like 13.3@89MPH. anyways Have you tried running at other tracks?
    i have a friend who INSISTS we ONLY go to Sacramento Raceway because both times we went to Sears Point, cars were running about 4-5MPH slower than they should (LS1's were trapping 102 and LT1's were around 95) but i still think Sears Point is a much nicer track. I think when slips dont make too much sense the best thing to do is try another run at a different track, and while "best" times can be fun to talk about, averaging them out gives you a better idea how quick your car really is.

    I haven't tried any other tracks yet. I would like to get down to Englishtown one of these days. Anyhow, I'm right on the border line for 11's (12.0@112). I got a different chip and some other little things that should push me over the mark for my next visit at my local track.

    When I look at my time slips from the last time out I got a 12.0@112MPH three times in a row. My 60' times were around 1.6-1.7. However, I had this one bad run with a 1.9 second 60' and I kept spinning after that. Well, even though my ET was a 12.5, my MPH was still 112MPH on that run.

    well,it still seems (to me at least) that at least the 60' times are off there, a 1.9@112 SHOULD put you closer to 12.2

    my mph should have been around 116???????

    i trapped 114 bone stock at totally different track and i trapped 119 on 2000ft D/A i beat a car trapped 122mph on the streets from a 60 roll.

    I guess you need to forget about paper racing and come to reality. nothing is wrong with the clock. the car trapped 122.8mph and has potential to trap even more on cooler air.

    I dug up my time slips. That 12.5 run got me a 110MPH trap speed and a 1.9 sec. 60'. Thought it was 112. O.K. no more bench racing for me. Sorry to jack to thread.

    im having a hard time believing that. Most pullied Cobras run (stock about 110) 114-117 at my track. Also, most stock or near stock LS1's run 105-107 but ive seen people post as high as 110-111 for a near stock LS1 so i guess it all depends on the track. Your time slip still doesnt make any sense btw but keep believing what you want

    I'm confused. 2000FT DA? That's more than a 1/4 mile. A 1/4 track is 1320ft.

    2000ft DA is 2000ft density altitude. basically the wheather made it the equivalent of 2000ft above sea level.

    so you are saying just because most cobras at YOUR track trap 110 stock and 114-117 pullied that means thats what they can do? i guess you need to read more about cobras then! and don't forget not everyone can drive them!

    last night i raced a 2v built GT with vortech blower who trapped 119mph on 90+ degrees weather and he put down 525rwhp and 477rwtq and 60-140mph dead even. neither of us could gain or lose and this was on like 50 degrees weather which would make him trap like 122+mph.

    so if my car is capable of trapping 117mph how come i hunged with that car all the way? His car wasn't running right or something is wrong with his dyno sheet?

    or how about this, i ran against a big turbo srt-4 who trapped 122mph and i out 2 cars on him on the highway at night, so the track he went to had clock issues as well?

    or how about this sir, i raced against 380fwhp stage-3 srt-4 who trapped like 119mph and here is the video of me pulling on a 119mph trapped srt-4

    go to www.chicagolandmustang.com and ask about me and my car there and talk to people who raced and what they trap and how i did against them.

    go to www.chicagosvt.com and do a little research and see handfull of pullied cobras trapping 120+mph

    go to www.svtperformance.com and do the same research.


    i raced a eaton blown mach-1 who trapped 120mph and after 3rd gear started pull on him.

    as i said, i guess you need to learn more or really stop talking because it looks like you believe what you want instead of reality.

    i ran 12.70@113mph bone stock and best trap was 114mph on a totally different track. I guess every track around here has clock issues, i should warn them!

    You have no idea what your car is capable of man.
