On the way home from a baseball lesson tonight i got my 1st loss ... fortunatly it wasnt against any rice or somethin of that sort... it was a 04 cobra... i had read about them but i didnt think they were that fast.. it was stock except for an exhaust.. but non the less.. i did lose.. and didnt try again... any suggestions for what to do to beat that thing? (thats really the only thing close to me besides the 3 lambo's in town which are never out... and even if they were they're owned by a 47 year old man (yes one person ... 3 lambo's... red, orange and yellow.. that i serve at the country club.. my job)

do you kow the guy? how do you know he didnt have anything else done?
to take out a cobra you will need all the bolt ons with a solid cam,nothing smaller than a 224/224. if youre an auto, stall the car with a 3000-3500rpm.
above mods will give a good number of cobras problems.
now throw some aftermarket heads on and youll beat most of them outside of the fully moded cobras.

a pulley swap, headers, exhuast and tune can net a cobra 100 rwhp easy and the car wont sound like it was overly modded.

little mods on those cars make huge power gains.

i forget where i was reading it but it said that a pulley gave the cobra a 45 HP increase!! Pulley's are prolly the most common mods in those cars. A shorter diamiter pulley will spin that supercharger like crazy. FULL bolt ons, gears, and a good H/C package, and you will give cobras a hard time. Waiting for the spring untill all my mods are in. Then ill save up for H/C. Never had the opportunity to race a terminator, wonder how ill do?

swapping out the airbox for a aftermarket unit like a KN will give a cobra 25 rwhp.
those cars love mods.
