i raced a shelby as well, it said onebad08 on the license plate, after we raced he was prolly thinkin damn i just got stomped by a car that cost a 1/3 of what a paid for this thing

i rolled up beside him at about 50 mph which is kinda dead, 55 plus is powerband... but we took off from a 50 and at about 110 i had 1 1/2 to 2 cars on him. we gave each other the thumbs up and we went our separate ways

arn't the GT500's and 03-04 Cobra's (stock wise) about the same in speed wise? well I hopen that once I get my SS done I won't have to worry about many mustangs at all

I raced one from dead stop to 80mph and had him by two. I was spraying and working the throttle due to heavy wheel spin in first and second. He made some smart remark at the next light about me running N20 and said his car was stock. I said if you mean 4 valves per cylinder, 4 cams and a intercooled supercharger I know and perhaps it's time for some upgrades.

The next week played cat and mouse with another that had at least exhaust upgrades. There was no where to run them so I purged while next to him at 25mph. My purge comes out the nostrills and looks like the cars in wind tunnel with N20 going over top of car. End of cat and mouse game.

a gt500 shouldnt have a problem with a 03-04 cobra at all, i walk 03-04 cobras all day when there stock, like takin candy from a baby

You do realize that no one ever thinks this right? Most GT500 owners are just like typical corvette owners......middle aged and don't give a shit about some 18 year old in a Trans Am. Trust me on this I sell mustang parts lol. He's probably thinking "What should I get at StarBucks".

I'm uploading the video onto youtube as I'm writing this. Like I said the shelby pulled out in front of me and quickly learned she took on more than she could handle. She was really getting on it until she realized that a much cheaper car was staying right with her. The road has lots of curves with 45psl and we were up to about 75mph at times. I really expected the shelby to be able to handle the curves much better???

kooks lt's and y with slp resonater, plugs, wires, throttle body, elec. water pump stock ls6 intake and maf, open corvette filter, free mods, stock ported heads, small cam and a daily driver tune
