Nice kill. Looks like you have a 1/2 car jump on him when you two started. His head light is at the back of your door.

You definitely need to get that shifting issue fixed. That is causing you to lose quit a bit of ground.

What exactly is the problem? I'd suspect if it's getting difficult to shift, you probably might need to change your hydraulic fluid or look at either the drill mod or an upgraded MC.

nice kill! What he 35th said flush ur hydraulic fluid and go from there. Can you tell if its a actual tranny problem like rough shifting and noisey or what?

sounds like his shifts were good, just slow...

after installing my Tick MC, and pro-5.0, I've never had a shifting issue

i dont have any noise its just hard to shift at 6k rpms. 5k its easy to shift and anywhere below that but once i get close to the rev limiter its like hitting a wall.. I looked up the mityvac way of changing the fluid and i ordered one it should be here in the next couple of days.. Is there a decent write up on how to bleed the fluid because im pretty noob at bleeding the clutch.

There is a sticky on it in the manual transmission section of the site.

You could possibly look at your hydraulic clutch fluid before-hand to see what it looks like. If it isn't honey in color than it's probably dirty and needs to be changed.

Sounds like to me that you aren't getting enough hydraulic fluid pressure to fully disengage the clutch. If the new fluid doesn't help, I'd try the drill mod next, which is your next cheapest band-aid to fixing it without replacing the MC.

I did the mityvac method a little bit the other day, the fluid was very dark. I will complete the bleed later today but as far as i know when i drove it the other day it helped a little! i actually can shift it in a decent time to 3rd. Thanks!
