G8 Or anything new?
Anybody Run one of those G8 Gt's ??
Spose to be 361hp
How you think it would run up against an Lt or Ls1 F-bod? Need mods?
I would guess that car is running like a c5 Vett
Isn't there some other new stuff out thats packing power?

i think they run mid 13's stock. nice car for a family sedan. theres a couple guys that are runnin twin turbos setup so watch out! if i could get one with a manual i would get it in a heart beat. GXP comes out soon. 400hp 6sp

I think they're pushing nearly 4,000lbs so they're not lightweights by any stretch.

car and driver just did a comparision against the g8 and charger rt. the g8 kicked its ass everyway possible. Luos found one on youtube with a tune that was running high 12s i really like those cars

i believe they compared it too the srt8 too in another mag and it was very close in everything too. only autos though. gxp should run in the 12's.

I drove one the other day it doesn't feel fast cause it shifts so smooth but if you watch the speedo it does pretty well but not as quick as an ls1 f-body

Havent raced one yet but did some reading about them on Motor Trend drive test there 1/4 mile time was a impressive 13.8 at 102.8mph it has 361hp 385tq, weight is 4,100lb Not bad for a four door.

I'm a member on the G8 board. Few of the TBSS guys have gotten them, my tuner included. They move out fairly well. My tuner ran a 13.39 at 103 in his stock but the weather was really good. Got it down to a low 12 that day on a 150 shot. Most of the guys are running high 13s around 102 in them though. They roll really well for what they are.
