Eclipse/Talon vs 2002 SLP SS

I drive a 2002 Camaro SLP SS, many SLP options. No mods, on engine, all stock.

A few days ago, had a long day at work. Not the greatest day, and i had spent a few extra hours at the shop cleaning out my throttle body(i love staying after hours to work on my car, makes me feel better).

On my way home i was at a red, when a talon or eclipse pulls up beside me, the guy has his girl in the car. Guy looks over and revs his engine, i smile. light turns green, and i match his start, hold back a bit, and then once i hit third i just smoke him. thats when i see the cop with his radar tripod, and my speedo needle is hitting 110...
the talon/eclipse got caught, i hit the side streets, made it home safe. Needless to say i drove with my dad to work for 2 weeks in his car. Too bad for the other guy though he gets shown up with his girlfriend in the car, and he gets a BIG ticket.

2 weeks, are candian cops really that crazy, if he didnt get your plate he cant just say it was you who was speeding 3 days ago lol.

Who knows though...its Canada...they are crazy with the speeding/street racing laws

yea... lately they have gone off the wall here. they recently made a law, if you're caught 50 over the limit its a 1 week license suspension, and your car gets thrown in the pound for a week. While the cops probably take it out every night for a spin, checking out what real cars can do...
