Considering they have been doing it for 3 years now it's not an urban legend.

    Zero or negative DA, 1.9x 60ft, cool-down, some prep = 12.8s/12.9s @ 109-110mph.

What that has to do with Edmunds I have no idea. Considering when the major magazines that can actually drive have tested them they ran 13.1s-13.2s @ 108-109mph...

I like the srt-8 engine, which is why i was excited when the challenger came out. They finally put it in a car that looks good

yeah... its about time! when we hear hemi we think of an old kick ass muscle car not some butt ugly wagon or a four door!!! lol. The challenger is a sure step up from that format. lets hope they stick with it.

Eh, still not fast enough. You pay $45K a new Challenger and it can still get smacked down by a mild modded LS1 or a C6 (a new C6 Vette goes for about the same dough). I think I would rather save ten grand and just get the R/T. Who cares if it's not king of the road? It's still a kick a$$ looking car and also has the Hemi.

Go search yourself. Why it isn't believable is beyond comprehension. GTOs have, Fbodies (less top-end than SRT-8s) have, a GXP recently did. It's not an urban legend.

LMAO You have one of those too??? There's a local red V6 with an annoyingly loud Magnaflow (I think) cat-back... Ugh, when alongside me he feels the need to floor it and bang through the gears when the light turns green... whatever... I do not bother... It's not worth it since the town is a host to the local state police...

Wow, I take a year off, come back, and waddya know, ole Deuuuce is still here defending the Mopar faith! Good on ya mate!

Going back to an earlier statement from you...I don't know about the "pulling" an LS1 F-bod at triple digit speeds, the aerodynamics just don't work out on that one Deucey. I got mine to 165 near redline in fifth with my girlfriend in the car, and the tops out! (not a good idea BTW)

Being shaped like a bullet vs. a brick has some top end advantage, one would wager.

making claims for either without proof is also silly.

had mine at 166 and still pulling slowly, but ran out of road! it would hit 170+ no problem on the right stretch.

b/s. ever heard of the F4 Phantom? that alone proved bricks could fly with enough power. as for top end.... check sig. not at redline just way too fast.
