Destroyed an 02 Mustang GT

So I heard from a friend that there was some guy who had started working with him boasting about his Mustang GT, saying that he was pushing about 500 horsepower and was soon to buy a chip for 2 grand to push up to 750hp.....I already knew this guy was full of shit just by that last part.

So anyways, last Wednesday, I decide to go eat at the restaurant where they work at and just my luck, the guy is there and he was about to get off work.

So we get to talking and I ask him what all he's done to his car. He tells me he has the heads off an 04 Cobra and the injectors off a 04 Shelby GT500 and he has gutted the cats and cut off the pipe right before the mufflers. So naturally, it was really loud. But here's the kicker, this guy goes and tells me that he's raced a cammed LS1 and barely beat him.

So I ask him to race cause I want to see where I stand...if I'll be able to keep up hahaha.

This was the second race, as he claimed that the first time he messed up on shifting. Regardless, I still smashed him and was done from a roll of about 15mph with a full tank of gas and passenger.

He really didn't know what the hell he was talking about....felt bad for him. I tried correcting him a couple times but he just kept talking out of his ass. I figured I'd rather not argue with an idiot lol

He mentioned a Camaro he had seen and I quote, "...that damn thing was quad-cammed."

You should go buy an old dial up modem from a flea market, and sell it to him for a couple grand. Even 'hook it up' for him. I can tell you, if he's that much of an idiot, he will even 'feel' the difference

yup. i went to the import shootout at thunder valley and there was a stang there that the owner said was twin turbo. funny thing is that i inspected that car UP and DOWN and no sign of a turbo anywhere lol (no intercooler or BOV or anything) the owner said they were hidden inside the car

Yeah it just makes me feel bad that a muscle car owner can be so naive and ridiculously uninformed, to put it nicely.

I understand wanting to brag about your car and feel like top dog, but know your shit before you open your mouth man. It just makes you look that much more of an idiot when you get spanked.

I love so many different styles of muscle cars, from classics to moderns, so when I run into people like this guy, it's just embarrassing....

He probably got one of those ebay chips that says +140hp and 40mpg but really its just a 1.00 resistor from radio shack.

muscle is muscle, i like the mustangs and i will always be an f-body guy.. as stated above though its people like that douche the really hurt us all in the eyes of the import world.
