crazy srt-8
Not a kill story but I was at orlando speed world for a test and tune this past wendsday and I saw a stock looking srt-8 jeep. This thing was a beast. He left the line so strong that he almost pulled the front wheels off the ground. The jeep is all wheel drive so that to me was impressive. He let off at about 1,000ft. mark and ran a 10.03 at 138.56mph. Everbody at the track rushed over to see what this thing was running. The owner would not pop the hood but he said it was a stock 6.1 hemi with a prototype twin turbo kit. I have never seen a suv run like that and thought I would share my excitment. Makes my 13.01 at 108mph seem pretty shitty lol

it wont be long and almost all cars will have some sort of F.I. on them

There is a guy on CherokeeSRT8.com that lives in Orlando and has an 1100 hp twin turbo Jeep. This might be what you saw.

Just makes me laught and go OMG at how fast newer vehicles are, especially a Jeep! What would the people in the late 60s think, if that Jeep was brought back in time LOL.

Yeah, I stopped the video to check that Camaros time, it was about 2 seconds faster and 50 MPH faster! Almost 200 MPH. So, that car does use the parachute!

Sorry to hear about your car Dennis. My mint condition low mileage WS6 is for sale in case you do not want to fix yours or it is totaled.
I live in Toledo and was not at the track. I wish I was though.
He will run again. This run was on "low" boost. He has never made a "high" boost run without something breaking. I can't wait to see a high boost run.
A Jeep in full trim running 9's @145mph
I think the first video I posted was removed.

Wonder what kind of HP that takes to move a 4500 lb vehicle that fast. 900? Anybody know off hand?

It weights 5200 per the track scale. Around 900 or so.
