ok theres a mustang cobra around here im guessing 03 or 04 with drag radials busting everyones ass, there all talking up the race between the 2 of us, he has a diablo preadtor tune i know and maybe exhaust and cai but i dont really know what he has done, ok i have 04 gto with tb bypass, k&n cold air, flowmaster exhaust slp mass air, and doing a diablo slp tune tommorow, can i beat him both cars r stick.

If it is an 01 - you have more than a chance, the odds are in your favor.

If he is 03 or 04--You better hope he shifts early, and misses a gear or two.

Please find out if it is a 03 or 04, otherwise if its a 01 and hes beating eveyone you still better find out all his mods with drag radials if he wants he can launc at like 5k.

dont be scared, i beat an 04 cobra that was runnin his mouth about my car being slow, so we seen each other on the street and went to a two lane road where everyone races. He does a john force burn out like he is the shit and i spin my tires maby once or twice and pull up, i foot break my car to like 2800 and i hear him reving high we go on the third honk and right of the line i have a car on him. I look over and see him like 2 cars behind me and i can hear the screaming baby under the hood, got to about 120-125 and shut it down. He didnt even give me the thums up he just flew by me and reved it to where i could hear the sc. Hate ppl with no sportsmanship. My mods are 3200 stall converter, 150 shot of juce, M/T ET STREET, K&N CAI, ported & polished tb, tb bypass NO CATS AND FLOWMASTER

just found out a 99 model, drag radials, diablo tune, maybe intake tb or mass air, as far as i know no internal mods. so i believe ill beat his ass at least i hope so.

In that case i think it will be a good race, his drag tires if he know how to launch are your biggest concern. Launching a V-8 rear wheel car at 4500-5000rpms is a huge advantage.

The '01-02 Cobra's are not all what many think. I notice for some reason people seemed to be intimidated by them. They are very respectable, average 13.60s-13.80s @ 103-104.5, but are not quite up their with the stronger LS1's, plus they respond horribly to minor bolt-ons. Those cammers need boost to run with bolt-on LS1's.
