Civic TRIED to do the Ricer Flyby

Last sat night I'm stopped at a light on my way home from the gas station when the light turns green and I hear some ricer exhaust flying up behind me. As soon as I hear it instinct kicks in and I mash the gas (thank God I already turned ASR off) Within about 1/2 /3 of a block it turns from 2 lanes to 1 so I don't have much time and he already had a moving head start from my standstill. He gets his rear bumper almost to my front bumper and it was all over. I got in front of him and cut over before it changed to 1 lane. Then I decided to go a cautious 5 mph under the speed limit (you know for safety's sake right?) I intentionally got caught at a red light and turn around and he had nothing to say. He tried to pass me again and instead of downshifting I gun it in 3rd at about 35 and he still couldn't pass me haha, I love civics

you should have done the ricer "hazard blinker" manouver to piss him off...

i was talking about the all mighty v-tech thinking about droping one in my car..obviously a better idea then that 408 i have been eyeing

lol i had one of those v -tech suv cross over thing the other day try to block me in and then keep beside me you know keep me boxed in so i should how the ls1 is like the energizer bunny when backed with a 273 you know ....it just keeps going and going and going and going and going lol

LMAO you thought about putting in a 408? LMAO what a dumbass. V-tech is the way to go man plus its cheaper. And you have a V8 motor so you can put 2 v-tech heads, one for each side and you would have a twin-vtak giving you insane hp

He launched? I would think an AWD twin turbo 6 cylinder would give you a good run for a few feet from a dead stop.

he did till he shifted into 2nd.....he quickly fell futher and further behind then.....prolly had 1 car on me off the launch.....he was definitly reving pretty hard before the light turned green..id guess 4k rpms...hard to tell....i had a pretty good launch that day......mid day..hot out...good times......young asian kids......i really expected more out of that modded 3000gt that day..i was disappointed
