Called out by a turbo TA

Yea...the typical BS. A bunch of us are on this local board called Turbo Forum. In the kills section there are a few threads that have turned into a free for all as far as call outs go, so I told this guy with the turbo TA that I'd do a pull with him and the next thing I know I'm getting a call out for a money run. Part that sucks is the board went down today right after I was notified that he replied with something else so I have no idea what he said.

There are a couple rumors going around; one being that he is laying down between 800-1100 to the wheels depending on boost and the other rumor being that it's a stock bottom end and he's not seeing half that much power. Anyway, I'm sure he thinks he has nothing to worry about since my 408 only put down 476 to the wheels (spinning on a mustang dyno), and yes it's an M6. He may or may not know that I have a nitrous kit waiting to get put on.

Sooo, I'll keep you guys posted about this one because I'm sure this whole thing is going to sink into some sort of major show down as fast as a submarine with screen doors.

BTW...unless he's really making that kind of crazy power...)which I'd like to really find out what's up because Saturday night they were riding around with a hand held programmer), I think I'll give him a good run. My Mods are below.

If he doesn't have a forged bottom end then I don't think he is making that much power. The crank is only good for about 800-1000bhp. If the top end is not done then he is nowhere near that.....my .02worth. If it does have that much hp...then its who can hook up.

Oh I will, plus I am trading intakes with my friend who has a FAST 90. He needs my intake for his FI and I need a FAST back so once that's on I'm going to retune, dyno and hopefully be well over 500 rwhp. Then who knows with the direct port 200+...so we'll see...I don't like to bench race.

We lets think about this a Turbo T/A with the stock block and forged internal can handle like 700hp if your lucky, they say once your above 800-900 hp you really need to ditch the aluminium block for a cast iron. Also with stock internals with 10 to 1 or high compression, amkeing 800hp is impossbile with a turbo setup once you push more then i would say 12psi your gonna cause some serious detonation on a high compression motor.

The car has plenty of muscle NA without the juice. I went to the track last night, dead hooked with my MT ET streets from a 5000 RPM launch and destroyed my 12 bolt. Spool time!

+1..nothin sneaky about the Zex plate bolted inbetween the intake and intake elbow for the world to see. Kinda hard to miss a purple nitrous plate with a big Zex on the side

Hey will its 9SecNova from turboforum ( I have the green Nova) if you forgot. I met the guy with the Turbo T/A it is no joke, I don't know dyno numbers I didn't ask, it does sound very good. From what the owner told me Merkel Racing built the motor its a 408 iron block and Job Spetter Jr from Turbo people tuned it. I asked what turbo was on it and he said, dude I honestly don't know they ground off all the numbers and lettering on the turbo. The guy was real cool and never acted like a d'ck. He's still using the factory 10bolt and he squeezed 325/50/15 M/T Radials on the car. Just thought I'd pass that info onto you.
