C6 Z06 vs. CL65 AMG [VIDEO!!]

Bone stock C6 Z06 about a week old vs. CL65 AMG + chip reflash & exhaust, rumored at 675+hp.

From a 60 roll up to about 170mph

All I can say is wow!!! Very close race. Toss some LG headers and better intake on that Z06 and there will be very few on the street who could take you. I'm very impressed with the new Z06's

They are both seriously powerful cars. That MB is fast to be sporting a 5 speed auto and carrying probably 1,000+ lbs over the ZO6.

Yeah the CL65 owner quoted it at 4400. I think the new Z06's are close to 3100?

I don't know anything about AMG's but I'd expect the z06 to blow it's doors off.

Lol, it would seem so huh. That's what I love about those cars, such sleepers. Just to clue you in, it uses a 6.5litre V12 twin turbo, i think 604hp from factory? this one has the renntech ECU reflash plus exhaust, estimated at 675hp or so.

Imagine how sick that CL65 would be with about 500 lbs in weight reduction.

Twin Turbo V12 is scary enough! BUT it doesn't matter on the size of the engine, its about what it will do. I saw an old jag in Jackson, TN and it had a v12 emblem on the trunk, but the exhaust was smaller than my stock one was and it had no rumble to it. I doubt it was fast. It may suprise me though.
