bye bye new mustang!!!
we were driving about 60 down a highway and i see him about to exit so when i go by i kinda punched it just to let him hear it... well he then gets out of the exit lane and catches up to me at a light...we start bull shittin, the guy was pretty cool and his mustang had some nice ass wheels and red leather interior in a black car <--hot!! which i complimented...so i come to find out he wanted to catch me to tell me how awesome he thought my car sounded!!!! well as we are b.s.ing, i noticed him rolling foward... i look up and its becuase the light was green for a while cause there was no cars in front of us ne-more...then he nails it, i follow and i pulled him so hard that i had to get out of it because he was it front of me and i couldnt switch lanes cause we were catching the other cars..i was in his ass at 3/4 throttle and he was ripping through the gears...first brake in traffic came...and i went bye bye!!!

Nice kill, those new GT's are quick, just not as quick as a LS1, they lack about 50 horsepower.

You didn't get it pregnant did you? Cause LS1/Mustang GT babies would be abominations against nature!
Karma's gonna get ya! Or maybe just a gang of feral cats.

Nice kill! My buddy just bought a brand new GT. It's a manual and we went riding around and as good as the Car & Driver numbers may be, it just didn't feel like it had much to it! I don't know if it's because my car has a good # of mods or what, but I don't think it would even be remotely close.
2002 Camaro SS M6, 2.5 PRC 5.3L heads, TFS 228/230 cam, FAST 92, bolt ons + a 10 lb bottle in the back.
1989 Corvette L98, A4, Full bolt ons, etc.

Nice thing about the GT's is they have some balls to them. Then again like everyone says...you can make anything fast with enough money

Hopefully the barriers will fade. For the stang and F-bod owners to finally unite to fight the rice....glorious day it would be.

That it would, that it would. Ive had both, and they both have their strong points and weak points. But if you're not comparing stock for stock, its just like you said; anything can be made faster/better than the other with a little money.

Agreed. I have respect for just about anything that's relatively quick, especially if it has the nice throaty rumble of a domestic V8! My only gripes are the TRUE ricers (the Honda Civics with fart can mufflers and huge wings that still run 16's, despite the "go fast" stickers). Now a Civic Si with a really big turbo and a shot of the juice, I can respect that!

Agreed again lol. A beautiful black VR4 Tank, or a nice bright orange RX7 (etc etc) i can respect. On of my dream cars is a Lancer Evo VIII, infact. But something that sounds identical to my weedwhacker and looks like something you'd see in 2F2F, needs to be engulfed in flames.
