    koenigsegg been has been know to lie about results

    they have been caught many times before

    plus we all know the vette came strait off the show room floor

    We also know the ZR1 holds the record at Nürburgring

    They are comparing a 1million dollar car to a $100,000 dollar car lol

    That's how Good the ZR1 Corvette is

    This company began it's life using Corvette Motors in their cars

    The ZR1 has put a wedge up the azzzz of Europeans

    They can't justify their Over priced Highly unreliable Ferrari like fabrications anymore
    I'd love to agree, but a few "minor" niggles:

    Dodge took the Nurburgring record away from the ZR1 a year ago and Koenigsegg originally powered their cars with a variation of the FORD mod motor.

    Just sayin.

    The dodge viper ACR isn't considered in most cases because it is basically a race car with a interior. Also if you check current times the viper ACR ran the ring in a 7.22, the zr1 orginally ran it in 7.26 but the new current time is 7.22 just like the viper. And the zr1 never had a record, it was just very very fast for a factory car under 500k.

    I'm aware. The ZR1 was considered at the time of its lap to be the fastest true factory street car around the Ring. When the ACR beat its time, many people said it had one-upped the ZR1 and taken the overall record, but if you consider the ACR a street car comparable to the ZR1, than why not consider the Radicals on equal footing with the ACR? They're the ones with the overall factory "street" car record, last I checked. I want to see a ZR1 lap with the ACR's PS2s, then we'll see how they stack againjst each other at the Ring

    yeah if you read what goes into building that motor, its insane. it also has huge parasitic loss, I'm thinking its well well over 2000 theoretical hp, but heat and other factors drop it to just 1000, lol. but with 16 radiators, titanium exhaust, hand built by one technician. its just awesome.

    they had a huge problem with the exhaust, the original model shot 10 foot flames out the back, and melted the stainless, hence the titanium.

    I'd want a car that is fun. Bottom line. That car would be fun for a while but it's to costly to run that risk of crashing it or breaking it. I praise the technoligy that went into it but if I were to get a super car, I'd shoot for a Mclaren or a F40.

    every one has their own opinion. I can respect that.

    ITs a bad ass car for sure. I watched the assembly of one on the discovery channel once. Even their "shop" where they build it is insane lol I wish i had the lifts they had. As for a supercar, the bugatti is sexy, but for some reason ive always loved the look of a Lamborgini Gallardo. My favorite car of all time. No its not the best but hey, niether is my firebird, but i love it lol

The veyron is a much better car with alot more thought and tech put into it. The aero is just a light RWD kit car with a crap ton of power. The veyron gets the same results with alot more weight, class and tech.

    I like lightweight simplicity over heavyweight complexity. Plus the true top speed of the Ultimate Aero has never been verified, they ran out of space on the mediocre public road they tested it on. According to wind tunnel and dyno testing, it should be much higher. Other than being a supercar, the Ultimate Aero is nothing like the Veyron. It weighs less than two-thirds as much as a Veyron, costs less than half as much, and can be driven and repaired without spending a fortune on gas, custom tires, and crazy-expensive parts from Germany.

    It's actually a better business case as another American supercar in the same fashion as the Saleen S7 Twin Turbo.

    Yes less complex is not bad if the car performs better. But it doesnt. It cant out handle or outstop the 4k+ veyron. All it can do is go faster top speed. It isnt comfy, refined like the veyron. Many people have built light, powerful homemade rockets that can go fast all SSC did was make one and since they are a car company producing a car that makes it a production car and makes it the fastest production car. ALOT more thought and work went into the veyron which is why it is such a amazing piece of tech.
