Not to be a dick, but for the second time he wasn't talking about 4Vs running 9s in general. He's talking about putting the 4V into a fox-body after my comment that they should put the GT500 motor into a fox to take advantage of lighter weights. To reword, he's responding, "Hey, aren't there already a couple 03-04 Cobra motors in fox-bodies that are running 9s with a few mods?" The answer is yes.

NA 4.6s in the 9s is nothing new. Don't remember when that record was broken, but it was a really long time ago.

GT500's are slow turds for the money. I think they look good but, I wouldn't own one for the cost. There is a guy locally that has one. He modded it with a pulley and full bolt ons package and it still can't trap higher than 119. SAD.

Well, the coupe weighs 3,920 lbs.!!!!! I was going to buy one until I found out how much they weighed. Hell, my Terminator is portly enough (3,650 lbs.)!
'01 BMW 330ci: Race it in a modified class in BMW CCA Club Racing and NASA endurance races.
'04 Lincoln LS V8 Sport: Stock.

Well, Ford Racing sells some turn key road racing Mustangs that I wouldn't mind having for track use.
