Haha, by pointing out that the trap speed didn't make sense indicates I didn't fall for it. Doesn't it?

Work on that 60-ft, and you'll be there before you know it Bob....

1.688 is my best to date...considering it's full weight car w/ driver over full weight I might not get much quicker

I'm going with one of those intake Tornado air swirling things. Just drop it into the up pipe and blammo....more power plus better mpg!!

    LOL @ Tornado...

That's a pretty good sixty foot you got there. What are your engine mods...?

Ported stock iron heads, larger injectors and turbo, and front mount replacing the standard location IC. A little porting on intake manifold...to match the heads. Stock cam, crank, rods, pistons, etc...in fact never had the oil pan off. Stock exhaust manifolds/crossover, but mandrel bent down pipe and dual exhaust.

Stock trans except some billet parts for durability...

Thanks for the compliment...many of my TB cousins are in 1.5's hope to get there. Only ran on my MT drag radials once...maybe I can get them to hook at a higher launch boost. I know on one of my runs with them (an 11.4 pass) I felt acceleration like never before at about 60'...hope to feel that again...what a rush.

Definitely consider a stall speed converter Bob. Also, how much boost are you running on the newer turbo?

    I forgot about the converter....it's a Yank 3000 stall lock up...stock is 22-2400. I might need a even a little looser converter...we'll see.

I run 27 psi at the track.

Bob, you definitely have a ten second car there. That broomstick of a stock camshaft obviously isn't helping of course, but now knowing you have a 3000 stall, and running that much boost, I have to ask, who did your tuning? What is your 1/8th and trap? Your 1/4 trap speed is very good, and your sixty foot is even better. Obviously a better camshaft will catapult you there, but you should be there with what you have already...

Thanks for the nice compliments. I've done everything to the car except trans strengthening...mostly just bolt on's though.

I've thought about a roller cam...

Is that C4 yours?? Looks really nice...and love the building behind it

I recently pulled an 3.8 SFI turbo that I was running in my '92 Firebird, and it ran very similar times, with significantly less boost than your running. Not to mention, it was a manual. Sure, the F-Body might be a tad lighter, but not enough to make that much of a difference. I was planning on installing an automatic w/stall this Spring (which would have solidified a ten second run), but sadly decided otherwise....

Update: The GN now has run a best of 10.66 @ 128.1
