ate a new mustang gt with some 281 badge on the side?
Finally broke the 4.11s in on the 99 formula properly tonight, by smoking a new mustang with some per. package on it with a 281 badge on the side. It was tuff looking to, yellow with black stripes on the side and an exhust that ran out the middle of the back. I started in 2nd and he was in first and jumped the gun on me, I bet that bastard thought he had me to becuase he was almost a car length ahead of me by the time I mashed it. I didnt start to pull on him till 5000 rpm because I started in 2nd. when I shifted to 3rd I caught up to that Fu**** and looked at his girlfriend and smiled as I pulled by him. By the end of third I was 1 car ahead of him. I think he thought it was a close race but i'd have fried his ass from a roll in first. These mustang guys think they're hot shit till my sleeper Formula smokes em. It was a GOOD NIGHT!Other kills this week were a 95 3000 GT VR4 and a 2000 M6 Z-28. Smoked the Z real bad, the Vr4 was running 14 pounds of boost with a downpipe and glasspacks. I still toasted him by 3 cars by the end of third. GREAT WEEK! Thought u might want to know.
MY MODS-B&M short throw, yukon 4.11 gears, whisper lid, K&N,cold air induction, smooth bellow, welded sub frame connectors, motor strut brace, magna flow exhaust running stock tips(sleeper mode),after market injectors, and will have pacesetter headers with down pipe by the end of next week.

I dont think I would have taken him stock, even with all the other upgrades and no 4.11s he would have beat me, but this was no stock GT, I dont know what package it is he had but it was pretty quick. Get the gears man, its a whole new world. I want to race a stock M6 C6 vette next to see where I stand.

That makes me feel even better, p.s. beat a STI wrx this morning on the way to work, only beat him by 1 car, that car is quick. I would have beat him by more but started in 2nd again., he actually was right by my side until i was in 3rd already and he shifted to whatever gear, then I SLOWLY started pulling away, they are damn fast!

I smoked a 98-2003ish model 281, supercharger whining clearly... was suprised, i was in a bolt on z28 at the track. Ran a 13.5 and he lost by about 1/2 second.

Not for nothing, but it sounds like alot of guys can't drive in cali, ever race anyone who knew how to drive? With your mods I would think you're probably making in the low to mid 300rwhp range (correct me if I'm wrong), which in my area isn't a whole hell of a lot, and would get beat on a regular basis. Just my .02.

I have a friend with a WRX STI, he upgraded the turbo and the thing makes 490 hp at the flywheel. He took me for a ride in it and the accelration is just incredible.

Got the Formula dynoed today, 311.67RWP 5850rpm and 321RWT at 3900. Not what I was hoping for but ok for now. The kicker was from 2000-4800rpm the torque was between 311-321, then started dropping after that. Temp was 97degrees with 41% humidity. Time to buy more parts!

Am I missing something? I am pushing 321 and 338 with my stock M6 and you say you beat a M6 2000 Z? Seriously, does nobody know how to drive or do the sub frame connectors do it all? Those and the strut tower brace are the first mods I am going to do.
