99 z28 vs 2010 camaro
so im running around town today in my camaro and i notice this new ss in the lane to my left behind me and its this like 30 ish year old lady and she is laughing and pointing at my car to im guessing is her boyfriend in the passenger seat and we got to a red light and she is revving up so i decided the hell with it light turned green we went i stayed in it enough to stay right beside them but never had to give it full throttle so we got to the next light and she tried to launch again well i pulled up and stayed beside her and then sped up enough to get infront of her do to traffic ahead in my lane so we let out and about a mile down the road i see her flying up my ass so i got on it again and said this time i will just give it everything so i gave my car everything well i took off and she stayed right on my ass for about 2 seconds till around 70 then my car started pulling hard but i could still hear her in it all the way so i just stayed in it till 135 and she was nowhere near me at that point and we got to the next light and she got beside me so i rolled the window down and she asked what i had done i just smiled and said intake and exhaust she screamed what the fu** so i asked damn hows it feel to get your new car raped by a 10 year old beast she only had two words for me after that f u i thaught it was funny but i guess she didnt lol

Great! She deserved it.
It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.

I agree with him running a V6. I'm pretty modded and don't just "walk away" from my friends SS/RS. I do pull, but when he mods it, I'm not so sure what will happen.

Ive driven the V6's on several occasions and although i dont think its a slow car but its definitly slower to me then my friends G37 Coupe or is also slower to me then a 315hp 2010 Mustang Gt, no doubt. I think it would be fairly quick if it didnt weigh soo much especially for a V6 car but i get all the safety stuff, it would've been a much better contender with 300 LBS less weight to carry. I need to take out a Manual V6 and see how it does maybe it will feel alot quicker.

V6 is probable. I ran an SS from a light a few months ago, no mods on my end but a lid, and I couldnt reel it in. Only had a fender on me by 80mph, but still..

Watch out for the M6 2010 SS's. They are pretty fast (with a capable driver). The autos aren't so bad unless they have a tune. OP's race had to be a V6.
