98 ws6 modded vs 2008 gt500 stock

guess what boys. surprisingly had myself some gt500 for breakfast at 5am. after beating him on 4 rolls from 60-140...150 ish i gave him thumbs ups no thumbs up back lol. id trade if he was interested. got him by a few cars the first time and then just kept getting worse. love the 6800 rpm redline on mine made the start of my day much better since i thought i was going to get my ass handed to me on a silver platter. and he insisted that i got the jump every time. ok no problem with that. but then id just jerk the throttle until he'd take off still beat him. looked it up after i got a little more stallions to the floor then he does. i have 431 gt500 has 398. awesome though. dont know the weight difference.

Finally a good Mustang kill thread!!! Nice kill OP, to bad he wasnt a good sport about it. That GT500 only put down 398? I thought they were rated at 500 BHP, thats like a 25% loss, whats the deal? There's gotta be a Mustang guy here that will chime in on this.

I'd guess you kept beating him worse and worse is because those roots style blowers like to retain heat(heat sunk). Since he didn't have any time for everything to cool off, they tend to lose a little power during back-to-back-to-back-to back runs like that.

I've came across about 3 of them. They don't seem to want to race me. All I have is a Toyota. One time a shelby outran a friend of mine in a Vette. When it was my turn he flat out said NO. Not even for fun. I guess I'm not worthy....
