98 trans am night out

ok so me and my friend were cruisin around in his 98 trans am, has a couple mods nothin much really, just CAI chip and SLP LM. so just about every ricer on the streets wanted to race so were like..ok...and beat about 10...the one that did best was still behind us like 3 car lengths lol..but then we ran into a cobra....then we were like heck yea a real race! we got on the highway and raced it from about 55-125, he put about 5 cars on us, that thing sounded MEAN! i almost had to plug my ears..but it was fun

not sure what year, it had a 99-04 body style but i didnt hear the supercharger....but even if it was the 03, 04 i wouldnt have heard the supercharger over the exhaust..

sry i dont have any pics lol, but i meant the t/a was reprogrammed not chipped

I had a chip in my 93 LT1 Trans Am, I believe that was the last year they could be chipped, because they started welding in the chips from the factory in 94, so after market companys started re-flashing the factory chip with programmers.

Thats what I heard, any way. It could be wrong.
