98' T/A vs 02' SS

It was just like a movie. Me and me buddy are cruisin through town and we roll up to a stop light. Out of the corner of my eye i see a pewter SS roll up beside me. The car looked like it just rolled off the showroom flow. I look over to my buddy all hes say is "just do it man " So i throw him a rev to bout 2 grand, then he revs his up. I then rev mine to bout 4 grand so he can hear my Lt headers with no cats and no mufler. The light turns green we both take off spinin then i jump ahead and keep pullin to 80 mph (came up on trafic). At 80 his nose was a couple feet behind my rear bumper and i was still pullin. So he follows me to a parking lot an we talk for a min I find out that his is a 02 SS w/ a six speed and a flowmaster and thats it. The first thing he asks me is if ive got headers shake my head yes and smile. He say good race a takes off.

My mods are
-LT headers, no cats, no muffler(for right now)
-Welded subrame conecters
-pro 5.0 shifter
-Slp lid w/ K&n filter
