How fast are these things? Met a guy last night that wanted to race but i was on my way to party so i didnt wanna do it at the time, i know him through a friend now so he says anytime im ready. He said its a bored out 3.0L straight six. No turbo or nitrous, nitto tires. Any ideas, all i have is CAI, Loudmouth.

You have to keep in mind that some BMW drivers buy those cars because they have a reputation for being a "driver's car". For people who don't know shit they think it adds credibility to what they say. I was in an auto parts store one day and there were two guys around my age (mid-20's) working there. We get on the subject of oil for some reason and the BMW owner says he has to run 15W-60 in his motor or it will smoke. The other guy just messin' with him keeps telling him that he needs to get it rebuilt. Finally the BMW guy says that he "has to run that one oil because the tolerances in the motor are so tight". The other guy and I are chuckling now pretty good and I have already paid for my shit so I leave. I guess that is another reason to not listen to all of the people that work in parts stores.
