89 rs vs pack of ricers

was on the far end of rt18 comming back off the parkway, just cruising along, when a group of 4 civics and some other honda/acura i think starts fucking with us, well i pulled the turbo off the car so im telling my gf whos driving to not even bother.
at this point the only mods to the car are a stall converter/gears and an ex system and some other small things

well they continously pull next to us rev, and jump on it pulling ahead a short distance and then falling back.
so finally as the one civic comes up next to her again without warning she jumps on it and the civic follow suit had about 1.5-2 cars on the civic till 120

then pulls up another civic this time he hangs right behind the door dam shut down around 115

finally the only non civic in the group pulls up i think it was an acura tl im not sure no badges on the car or anythng
we we go and he walks us the whole way upto 105 by about a car and then really starts to pull away to 120

kid rolls down his window asks whats in the car and we tell him a v6 he just goes no way shakes his head and falls back with everyone else

not really anything special but considering it was an na v6 i felt kinda good lol

now im just dieing to get the new twin turbo motor into the car

Good story. Funny, most likely these guys are going to think they can hang with any Camaro now. .. Is that your GF in your avatar?

damn that's pretty impressive. those tls have a good engine in them i can't think of what it is off hand but i know they're decent for na 6's. did i mention i like your avatar.

It's ok, they will be in for a rude awakening when they meet a V8 F-body.

well the one guy knows its a v6 atleast,besides im pretty sure u cant mistake a v6 ex @ 7,100 rpms for a v6 lmao.nope not my gf lol

im not sure if it was a tl it had some hige dam body kit on it, but it deff wasnt a civic or accord.

lol i was really wishing i had waited one more week to pull the turbosystem out of the car. had i still had it on they all would have been left very far behind. its all good though the rest of my parts came in and im finishing up my twin turbo motor this week,and i shoudl have my stanealone wired up by then
