Haha....that wont be a pattern he will be able to soon forget.

Also, OP, is there anyway to use a supercharger from the mid/late 90s and early 2000s 3.8s in the Pontiacs and Buicks?

That would prove to be a snappy little upgrade and then when people spout off about it being just a V6 you can either hang with or beat. There are 3.8 Supercharged GTP grand prixs pushing decent numbers, the tranny just wont hold, yours I would think should.

Might be a way to go, not sure if people do that or not.

His is a manual also, But I just want to give myself a reason to go out to the track and so what kind of numbers im running before i bite into the engine and buy mods next year!

    Thanks!

Main question, If im going to lose, how badly will I lose?
I had a 99 Mustang GT M5. Stock except for KN filter. Best times I was able to run were 14.1-14.2 trapping 99MPH. If he cant drive and you can it will be pretty close, I have seen 3800 Firebirds run in the 15's

tell him to pick on somebody his own size (engine that is) if he pulls up to one of our ls or lt cars his fun is OVER lol thats why he wants to race your 3.8 because he already knows that he is going to win

    Hrm...how is a 4.6 vs a 5.7 fair then? j/k

Actually a 3.8 is 82.% as big as a 4.6 and a 4.6 is 80.7% the size of the 5.7. lol Kind of funny how they line up pretty close huh?

never seen that before but its definately close then again were talkin about to more cylinders even if there 8 are smaller then our six so i would think that torque would be a little more than the six but who knows best of luck to the 3.8 if all is true in the op then it should be a close one

Talk with Smittro, he's our resident V6 expert. Here's a vid he gave me one time. Not sure if it's his but it does show that these 3800 can be power monster

were not in english class lol but if you dont use proper punctuation lol you dont know where one sentance ends and the other begins you especially need to use periods and commas lol otherwise while youre reading it your mind starts floating and it is like its gasping for air trying to take a breather between one long sentance lol and it is very hard to get through it and decipher exactly what message you are trying to get across lol so adding a couple periods or commas to your sentance can be very beneficial and it also portrays the writer of said post as more intelligent rather than less intelligent so try to use punctuation lol

Sorry, I did have something to say. To OP, you are gonna get your ass handed to you. Well, not by a whole lot, but unless you only race a few hundred yards, he would have to miss all his shifts. But don't fret, you have your demons to contend with(GT), and we have ours(SVT).
