I don't think so. That T-56 is a strong tranny. The clutch may fry, but the tranny is going to be good unless you're putting some pretty serious power through.

I was meaning for speed of shifting and consistency at the track with a built and stalled A4. You'd only fry the clutch if you didn't know how drive a T-56. They are tuff.

You said you had Nitto DR's right? If so that would definatly explain your Kill. I agree good kill, but if the Mach1 had Nitto DR it would have been a different race. When I had Nitto DR on my Mach1 I beat an 03 cobra from a dig and at the end (105-110ish) I was still 1.5 cars in front of him. Drag radials definatly make a huge difference. But again good kill man.

are Nitto DRs better than the Goodyear F1 tires I got? what 1/4mi gain should I expect using those DRs as the rear tires? thanks for the input.

Yes drag radials do make a diffrence....especially if you have an a4...but the only advantage it gave me was from a dig i took off like a bat out of hell and he was like WTF....but from a roll it dosent really make much of a diffrence..correct me if im wrong but it may have made the race a little closer but the higher in mph we got the more i pulled

this is just my opinion but i thnk what helps out the fbodys the most is the aerodynamics compared toi the mustang and the displacement difference

aerodynamics play a more significant role when u hole ass 120+ mi..
but gears ratio, displacement diff, engine makeup, heads/cam... is a huge plus

you have a little bit more torque than a mach1 and with the DR you actually get the use of your rpms instead of just spinning your wheels. I have that problem now with the goodyear fis on my mach1 (No first gear, and half of second).

yeah, the stock goodyear skatorbacks on mustangs suck. even in my gt i could turn the tires over in 2nd from a 40 with stock gears.

for a stock gt it is hard to spin second when shifting, much less punching it at 40 mph.
