08ish civic si vs 02 z28
Well cruising home today at about 70 i notice a nice blue colored car civic with a huge echo chamber out the back, i chuckle and realized i always c this car but no one ever driving so when i went by him he was on the phone and i blipped the throttle in 6th and look in rear view and see him looking hard core at my car and got off the phone real fast and start catching up to me. I moved over and let him pass and he starts pacing me and smiles and hits it a lil here and there so i took it easy through the gears and when i went to 4th he decided to hit it so i had to put her in 3rd very quick and when i did i notice that im slowly pulling on him and i grabbed 4th took it to about 115ish and had about 3 cars maybe. Pulls up to me and the first thing he asked was if i was cammed and i said no and he was in shock it seemed like that i wasnt. then we went from a 55, now i was excited becuase thats great, well we hit it and same thing??? Then i hit my damn rev limiter for the first time! he slowly started pulling but once i grabbed 4th i started pulling again and ended 3rd at about 2.5 cars ahead. He told me that i have the fastest most nicest looking z28 he has ever raced, i told him thanks and he had a nice car too. This is where it becomes fishy, i asked what he had done to it and he said intake and exhuast. Well i tell him nice runs and he does the same, he takes off and floors it, pulled nicely and i noticed is tip that was bronze and blueish from heat, and once he got into rpms that thing put out a lil black smoke and sounded mean as hell, and actually good! sorry for the novel just kinda surprised he stuck so well.

maybe had some skunk cams, full bolt ons, and even maybe a lil shot. new si's are sssslow so i cant imagine cai and exhaust could hang with a 12 second fbody

yes yes, he must have had a hidden bottle of nitrous like in the Fast and the Furious just in case he comes along a z28 he can race.

It is just as easy on cars like that to install cams as nitrous. But yes i agree bolt ons shouldnt be a problem. a co-worker has a 09 SI as so far has paid his honda delaer 38k for the cars, full bolt ons plus installation so it wont void his warrenty. He only put down 207whp and my 2005 legacy gt still put 2 cars on him in a roll race.. i put down about 250whp. Thats about as much as a pull on a 99-04 mustang gt on a roll race.

Nice kill, OP.
And I agree with the others, he had a whole lot more that an "intake and exhaust." I call BS on that claim, since you got him by roughly 3 cars to over 110.
Also, you need to explore where your car hits the rev limiter, since I've gotten the quickest ETs/highest MPH by shifting my cars just as the limiter kicks in. (6200)

yea i would have never thought a civic sounded good.. bit it DID. It wasnt the normal loud and just hollow sounds of shit lol. Thanks Too Fast! yea i normally hit my shifts dead on. but i had just happened to look in my side view to see where he was at. Thats my i hit my limiter. Kinda sucky on my part
