08 GT goes down

Merging onto the highway this morning I see a red GT with white racing stripes at the bottom of the ramp so I scurry on up and meet him. We get past some cars and I shifted into 4th and pulled beside and started to pace him. We're doing 70 mph and I was at about 3k rpm in 4th gear and jumped a little, then he took off. I thought about going to 3rd, but then just mashed it when he was at my front wheel and proceeded to pull about 4-5 cars on him until 115. This would have been a massacre if I'd have gone down to 3rd! The guy gave me the thumbs up as he got off his exit and I did the same.

what are your mods? when my car was stock I took down a 99-04 by about that much from 70-120 with him getting a big jump.

Mods in sig. I pulled on him fairly easily for being in 4th at a low rpm to start at. I kinda wish I'd have gone to 3rd, but whatever, it still came out in my favor.
