    Bullshit.

They seem to have an advantage out of the hole. And that little section of 60 feet makes a huge difference on the overall run.
1.674 is the best I can get....so far.

    M/T ET drag radials.

    Launched from 4000 RPM's...still bogged a little.

DA was bad, but it couldn't break into the 13's. Granted...some of that is the driver.
    DA was 7500+.

Can't group those together. 94-95 5.0 H.O. motors, 96-98, first 4.6li, and non-pi at that, mostly TOTALLY stock run around mid 14's. My 95 5.0 5 speed with stock 3.08 gears, and a/c delete, full exhaust, rebuilt engine to a 306 and mostly stock everything else runs low 14's with tractions. If I knew how to launch prolly break into 13's.

Meh, I'm not much a drag person anyway. My plan for the car is heads cam intake, 30lb injectors 70mm throttle body, good mostly safe tune, hope to hit around 310rwhp and 340 torque, then rebuild the rearend with maybe some 373's but depending on how high I'm revving I don't want my top speed to drop down too much, hope to be shifting at 6200 or so, stock block so gotta keep it kind low, we will see.

I saw 3 06 gt's at bradenton motor park in Florida run 13.8-14.1 trapping around 100 mph. So what you say and what I was there to see is two different things. Bottom line... stock GT's are SLOOOOWWWWWWWW

Like omfg you saw some 06 Gt's not running very well, guess that is what all of them run!!!

Damn I better go spread the word to everyone that has bought a new Mustang Gt, all you can run is 14's!

"I went back to the track yesterday. What a difference 1400 miles make. It was really busy and I couldnt stay all day, but I got 2 runs in. The 1st run was a 13.78@103.85 with a 2.20 60ft."

    Ran my 07 automatic today.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Hey All

Ran my car today at a track rental at US41 dragstrip. Air was pretty decent, but I don't know the DA.

Car is an 07 GT automatic. Leather, 18" fan blades at street pressure, Shaker 500, IUP, yada yada. 3750 with me.

    Car has the following mods:

Superchips Xcal 2 with Bamachips tune. -If you have an automatic, buy one.
C&L Cold Air Intake kit (street version).

I ran 10 times. Worst was 13.75, best was 13.71. It's a born bracket racer.

    Best 60' was 2.14

    Best mph was 101.65

Of course, if it would have gone faster, I would have been happier, but considering the hijinx I had to pull to get my 5-speed 5.0s to run that kind of number, I'm not too disappointed.

With a 4:10 gear and drag radials (and maybe disconnecting the front swaybar), I could probably run really low 13s in good air.

    Steve-- http://www.corral.net/forums/showthread.php?t=842130

    frist track time

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    frist time to the track

13.3 with x pipe stock mufflers lideos sct performance tune and cold air also underdrive pulleys

    does this sound right>?--- http://www.corral.net/forums/showthread.php?t=832604

I could go on but I won't. Also ET's aren't everything, ever heard of track condition? 60"? All were coupes or convertibles? Me saying hey I saw some LS1's the other night that couldn't break 12's doesn't mean no stock LS1 can break 12's. That would be ignorant of me to assume would it not?

My friend order his 07 grabber orange coupe already with short throw shifter yada yada yada, stock is supposed to be able to run 13.5 I guarentee he puts some nice tires on there he can easily get low 13's, with a few bolt-ons, break 12's. He knows how to drive.

Hey! My 69 302 convertible with a 3.55 peg leg and a C4 auto runs similar times. My best run is 14.308 @ 99.1mph. I have been an ugly surprise for a lot of SN95's on the street. I always get a kick out of the expressions on the drivers of these sticker encrusted cars when an old, fat man in a 38 year old pastel yellow convertible blows em away. My 302 is now 308 and I'm also running a mild cam, roller rockers, KB flat tops, GT40P iron heads and custom tri Y headers.
