    07 mustang GT vs 1998 Camaro z28

Aright who would win stock for stock and by how much. I am talking about a dead stop and from a role. Also what do the mustangs get in the 1/4 mile? I seen there HP and torque is around what the LS1 is putting out.

yes the camaro should win, but auto or stick? A manual GT vs. a '98 auto with 2.73 gears would be a close race

Pretty fast. I saw two 05-06s GT ran 14.2s consistantly w/ both have CAI, and catback. GTs that night and at the same night I ran 13.1s @ 106s

Are you referring to No Problem or State Capitol. No Problem is a nice track plus the density altitude is so low there it makes for killer times and there is good traction also.

As a Neon driver, I of course think of it in terms of my car. The last generation Mustangs were beatable by a stock SRT-4 (a drivers race for sure). These new ones are able to beat out a stock SRT-4 (stock for stock), but not by a huge amount. I doubt an LS1 will have any issues if it's well driven.

No Problem Raceway. State Capital was kinda bad but they are now under new ownership and i hear they have stepped it up a notch.

I agree, a few weeks ago at the track they were mostly running low 14's and a few high 13's, they aren't that fast
