    i wish i could have chance to take my LT1 to track but i have missfire that i need to fix first..

    LT1 feels faster than my stang from a roll but that might not be true.. it just feels that way.. from a dig new stangs feels faster than LS1s but after 3rd gear game is over for us anyways

    I say it is a drivers race.
    The LS1 car has a little more power.

    If a new Mustang GT is trapping 106'ish'....that is F-Body M6 stock territory.

    And missing 4th gear a few cars from the finish line will affect your trap speed more than anything. The ET really won't suffer much.
    Unless you are like me and running a 4.11 rear gear. Even still...I could still probably run a 12.2 at 100 MPH without using 4th. At the top of the track...you are already moving so fast it doesn't affect the ET as much as you would think.

    hmm.. then thats why i ran 13.6 @ 93.21mph.. very very crappy trap.. now i wonder what i would trap if i wouldnt have missed gear.. 106 stock stang GT?? never seen it but looks like possible cuz i trapped 100mph and ran 14.0 so if you can run 13.5-6 then looks like 104-5 is possible right?

    i always mention and i will always mention.. LS1 TRANS AM (not camaro) looks a lot better than stangs!! cobras are kinda sexy looking but with wide meats nothings looks like LS1 f-body.. even though i own brand new stang GT, i would love to have LS1 trans am instead of this stang..

    On average, the less traction the higher the trap speed.
    The reason I said 106MPH is someone posted that their stock car trapped that. Not sure where you would be at Erdal. Maybe 103-105.
    You would have to run her again.

    before seasion close, i wanna go to track and do some passes.. that time it was so crowded maybe like 400 cars so i only got to do 3 passes in 7 hours..

    i am pretty sure, i can get almost the same 60' again... i wont even try to shift 4th again.. 3rd gear is good to finish 1/4 mile.

    I am going to try to make it this Wednesday night for one more time out. But the weather is looking really touch and go right now.
    If it stays dry though...it will be some GOOD racing weather.

    man, u did everything to that car.. do one more thing.. upgrade your rear end.. rev that thing up to 5 grand RPM and pop the clutch. DISCOVER WHAT SHE WANTS TO DO!!!!!

    also, sometimes i am thinking trading this mustang in and pay the loan off and re-finance for a decent 01-02 WS6 but i am such a pussy, i am scared to discuss this with my wife.. cuz she hates talking about cars anymore

    It has a Moser 9" under it.
    Needs a driveshaft to handle that power moving through it though.

    Launching from 3500 RPM's and mine bogged a touch.
    Hoping Wednesday night stays dry...one last time out. It won't be rain though if it is wet...it will be snow.
    I have my fingers crossed for the weather to hold out.

    Upper 10's full weight would be my best guess.
    Around 129 MPH.

    When you start getting into the 11's...it gets much harder to knock time off.
