    I've had 2 friends that have owned a Civic Si at some point. One had a 4 door, the other had a coupe. They both ran high 14s, showroom floor stock. My friend with the coupe ran 13.7@101mph with I/H/E and KPRO for tuning. They are very nice cars to drive and handle excellent, however they are not my cup of tea.

    Not my cup o' tea either. I dont know anything about Si civics other than what you've shown me. My reply was mostly in ref to his mid 15 sec answer tho.

    If they can't drive, I guess a 15 second run is plausible. Most of the 15s Civics are those EG, EK models from the mid '90s. These are probably the turds you run into.

    Agree! They're usually rust buckets, with coathanger tied up fart cans. A friend of mine has an Acura Integra he never puts on the road. IMHO quite frankly the thing is dangerous. All I know is it's a Vtec with a large turbo and it's hard to control under full boost. I have'nt the sightest what it runs, or it fwhp. But it moves out very fast for such a small motor.

    That camaro in the second vid is on the fullthrottlev6 site. I think it runs like a 13.5. Completely gutted and under 3000 pounds with an internally stock motor.

    Were not calling it fake, we are just saying the T/A has some problems as a 06 civic SI with those mods is a mid to high 14 second car and a bone stock T/A can do mid 13s.

    Wow, very interesting. I am surprised they make that much power, is that at the crank or at the wheels? One of my co-workers has a 240 but I don't think it is makeing the power that yours does!

    Thats crank, the civic SI Mugen edition makes 240hp and 170trq N/A crank by far the most hp a civic has come with but with a almost 40k price tag attached to it its one pricey civic and most people would rather just get a STI or EVO.

    Agree! I'm willing to bet the other car was'nt even racing him. Looked more like typical ricer BS to me. Look in the vid there's another car just behind and to the right rear of so called T/A. The T/A if that is what it is, is'nt even pulling on the car to the rear right of it which is most likely in all honesty NOT racing either. Anyone can blow thier horn and then hit the gas and take off......

    I simply used the pause button, then slid the slidder back and forth on the shot. Granpasty: Silly ricer those tricks are for kids!!!!!!! Go get a real car and some sunshine and try again dipshit I seriously doubt the out come will be the same...
