04 (stock) GTO vs 99 TransAm

well, first off I gotta say this was one of the most ingnorant GTO drivers I have ever met i'm at a light getting ready to merge onto the free way (was late at night and the roads were dead BTW) this light was taking forever to turn after a few seconds a yellow GTO rolls up behind me....waits a few seconds and jerks over to the side of me (the lane eventually turns into one and one of us was going to have to get behind the other) I gave him a respectful nod being that he is a fellow LS pontiac brother, him and his girlfriend looked at me and pursisted to laugh, then he has the nerve to tell me I have a nice "chick car" well right there I went all out I said allright buddy we'll see who has the "chick car" by the look and sound of it he was completely stock exept for his gay greenish neon light set up in his car...the light turns green and I slam it, it was pretty close until we got to higher speeds and I slowly walked away from him by about a car length no more than that he was forced to get behind me which i thought was hilarious after we got on the free way he stuck his middle fingure at me and did a ricer fly by at about 100+ mph I just let him go I never got to run one of the 5.7 GTO's so I was'nt sure what to expect needless to say i'm happy though, im pretty close to stock performance wise all i have is a catback exaust, lid w/ k&n and the optional 3.23 gears on the A4, but man what a DICK!

the sad thing was I was trying to be cool with the kid at first,and one last thing i'm curious if this GTO disrespect is common anyone else have one of these things think they are far more superior than an f-body and tryed to spat on you? -Jason

Wow, this is a first for me. I've never heard of one Ls driver disrespecting another like that. Most LSx drivers are dicks from what I've seen, but i'm glad you did what you did to him cuz he was showing off in front of his gurl and got punked. For that you get the thumbs up

i'm way more of a dick on the i-net then real life. i can respect most american v8 cars. especially when there's ricers around.

Ricers, I believe to be less intelligent because of some of the things they actually do on the street. That's a thread of it's own. I'm busy debating with them when they say stupid things about the Z06 and ZR-1 when comparing it to their beloved GTR, which is a great car, but so is the Vette.

my speedo, tach and guage lights are a bright white(stock), the cd player/clock is the only thing green in my car.

nah he had a retarded neon bar mounted on the dash towards the passenger seat, ya i dont wanna believe it either but it is what it is

at least he did'nt put stickers or a giant wing on it.....coulda been worse lol

alot of these guys that buy these cars only see hp, hp, hp. they don't bother to look at the wieght as being a contributing factor, they just know they have more hp so there is no way they can be beat.

I got killed by a 06 Goat (with a 250 shot) and he stopped to ask me what mods I had... Most goat owners I hav run into are pretty cool. It's the vette owners that are mostly dicks so far.
