10's shouldn't be a problem with the Whipple. As long as you've got some suspension upgrades/good tires you should accomplish that goal, while still maintaining great driveability!

Assuming the MS4 is a more aggressive grind (not familiar with the specs) I would assume it would be more than possible to go 10's cam-only.
ms4 is more aggresive.. just slightly larger.. 10.8 to be exact. ms4 4000 stall 4.10ss LTs TDs.. yes there was some weight reduction.

So the answer to your question is yes a H/C nitrous LS1 can easily achieve that power level...and then some.
and will still lose to a 700rwhp cobra. you dont see a 600+rwhp LS1s everyday but you do see cobras all over. i understand you are a fanboy but fact is an LS1 is gonna need A LOT to run against a twinscrew cobra, let alone twinscrew + nitrous!

I love how these fanboys sounding like LS1 > Terminators. lol

here is a 9 second run with stock eaton and spray!

kenne bell + spray. stock motor!

with just whipple 3.4 cobra at 30psi cobra made 850+rwhp on a BONE STOCK MOTOR! ran 9s all day long and drove back home.

with just a twinturbo kit, cobra made 820rwhp on pump gas and ran 9s all day long.

tons of cobras running 9s and driving on the streets.

i made 455rwhp and walked on 2 totally different LS1s with 150 dry shot + bolts on. one from a dig and another from 40mph roll. I trapped 123mph and ran 11.3 with 1k in mods and NO SPRAY!

a terminator has way more potential than LS1s.

You see, for every video you post like that, I can post 5 more where the LS1 wins! Get this through your hard head: Cobra's ARE NOT inferior.

I accidently deleted the darn post while trying to edit. My cousin put down 517rwhp with pulley, bolt-ons, and a 75 dry shot. Here is my dyno graph with the old 125-shot...

I now have 250-shot jets in, along with a set of Advanced Induction 205cc heads, Edelbrock Victor Jr. EFI Intake, PTE 105-degree Elbow and a Accufab 90mm throttle body sitting in the room waiting to be put in. I will be sitting at 650rwhp. Next year i'm pulling out the direct-port kit and going with a custom-fabbed turbo system from my friend JT at JT Mustangs (yes, you read right) w/ a small dry shot and bigger cam.

Excellent! But of course, you can find vids of LS1's beating Cobras and vice versa all day.

    Both cars are deadly.

    yep

ive run 3 cobras with MORE rwhp than my LS1...but im sitting at 6-0 vs. the snakes

power for power the cars are great, but getting an Fbody setup is much easier

    2001 M6 SS - few mods...

11's can be quite simple - and cheap. I've seen it done with lid, catback, BFG dr's, and a DynoTune 150-wet kit...on an '98 Formy M6.
I could run better if I could afford to spring for some new tires... Yeah right now its a 50 shot, Im thinking about re building my motor again and putting forged internals into it so I can maybe go with a turbo or a supercharger

and A4 fbody can dyno 100hp loewer than a cobra and still give it a run, like said i have one here that has right around 460ish, and he wont race me..

they are very respectable but a 700rwhp cobra isnt untouchable.. not by any means.. a cam only ls1 with a 150 shot is right there with it.. if not beating it..

It's funny how no matter how much horsepower your generating, it's nothing if you can't get it all to the ground. That forged idea is a good one. I honestly have never ran the bottle without atleast going with some Forged pistons. It's a safety blanket, plus it allows you to run more nitrous.

    i run a 150 shot on my LS1 24/7

its never had the valve covers off

sure, it destroyed the 10 bolt, clutch, T56....but who cares

running 150, i still have no traction even on stickies at the track, so i really cant see the value of spending thousands on a motor rebuild to be able to run 50-100 more and have less traction.

Well, that's the reason why you have to do what I did: Invest in suspension. When your aiming for 9-second e.t.'s like I am suspension mods are a must. So many invest in nitrous, bolt-ons and other go fast goodies and forget about the suspension. It's just as important if you want to run to your fullest potential. What good is X-amount of horsepower if you can't get it all to the ground? A 150-shot is decent for a street brawler, but when you wanna play with the big dogs I can guarantee you your going to need more than that. If you wanna run with the opposing 780rwhp twin-turbo Cobra for example, once again you'll need more than a 150-shot. Majority of the ultra-fast cars (9's and down) ain't runnin' no 150-shot. My 125-shot was good enough to get me down into the low 11's @ 125-127mph (which I really should have been in the 10's with that trap speed, thanx a lot crappy Nitto Dr's), but I am shooting for 9 second e.t.'s now and a 150-shot ain't gonna do it. A solid built motor will allow you to run copious amounts of nitrous, reliably!

Is your suspension 'tuned' properly, I notice you didn't mention shocks or springs which are two VERY important pieces. Tires?

    shocks are ST

the car is lowered so i know that hurts, but it should hook better than it does

tires - ET Streets, not the radials, with anywhere from 20-10 psi, no help

    went from a 7.68 @ 96
changed rear, LCA's panhard SFC's, clutch, trans, drag bags, and from a set of worn out ET street radials
    and ran a 7.45 @ 96 1.71 60'...kinda disappointing

Are you on drugs. Let me get some. There is NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT. A 5.7 LS1 has more potential. For gods sake, put a 3.4 L Supercharger on a LS1 and see what happens. 3.4 L S/C is fucking bigger then most damn motors on the street now a days. Your talking S/C vs. N/A.

It seems to me that your suspension parts are not working together. Might want to invest in something better than Suspension Techniques shocks to began with. You should have definitely seen more than that considering you had ET streets as well.

On the '93 I have all BMR components (tubular SFC's, tubular K-Member, Upper/lower A-arms, Adjustable Torque Arm w/ relocation kit, On-car adjustable Control Arms, Adjustable Chrome-moly Panhard rod) with the exception of QA-1 single adjustable front/rear shocks, Eibach Drag Launch springs & bag. The suspension was built and tuned by Keith @ Force Fed Performance. It hooks very well despite having the 555r 305-35's out rear.
