    02 Camaro Z28 vs 05 Ford Mustang GT / 01 v6 stang

A good friend of mine in the 2005. He is pretty much stock except intake+handheld tuner.

I know the 2001 Ford Mustang V6 was a very cheap kill but like I say a race is a race and he said "hellz yeah!" to the race offer when I met him in my cousins hood. He even kick his girlfriend out of the car after we agreed to go out and race.

    So no moaning!

You need a tune then. I've never had to wait for mine.

Racing in a heavily-populated residential area. And we wonder why the cops despise cars like ours?

I hope you reach your 17th birthday.

Hell that's too small, they will get crushed in a little tin can. I'm putting my son in a big mid 70's full size truck with alot of steel and frame around, that sits up higher than most any car, with a 5 point harness and a roll cage

I'm starting to slowly change to a normal driver now. Today me and a buddy dropped off a group of people at some place and the other driver had to stop and wait for me to catch up on two occasions. They were driving a Elantra.

You dont need to explain yourself to us. BLKCLOUD just likes to be a downer. He comes into almost everyones post who did a high speed race on the street and says the same stuff. I understand what being respectful and safe on the street means but he doesnt need to come into countless threads and be the old man who yells at us to slow down and then mummbles random slures under his breath when we dont. This is the KILL SECTION and the best kill stories take place on the street.

A downer? Hmmm...I've been called a lot of things, but that's a new one.

Realist? Perhaps. Been around the block a time or two? Ya, probably. Downer? Only when it comes to pointing out pure stupidity.

Know what I mean? Probably not. Oh well.

He comes into almost everyones post who did a high speed race on the street and says the same stuff.
Almost everyone's? Don't think so. Says the same stuff? Nah, I try to spiff it up a little bit. However, I will make no apologies for commenting on videos like those posted in this thread. None.

I understand what being respectful and safe on the street means
Which is why you condone this sort of thing, and believe it to be "cool" or whatever.

Right. Good evidence you provide to back up your "respectful and safe" assertion.

    Next.

but he doesnt need to come into countless threads and be the old man who yells at us to slow down and then mummbles random slures under his breath when we dont.
Maybe I do need to? Random slurs? Hmmm...ok, you might have a point there. How about instead I just say it was incredibly stupid, immature, irresponsible, and bad for our hobby (performance cars)?

Would that make you happier? I suspect not, but I digress.

This is the KILL SECTION and the best kill stories take place on the street.
"Best"? Hmmm...won't debate that. Regardless, There is a safer way to do it, and a not-so-safe way to do it. Oops...there I go again. Let me rephrase: There is a safer way to do it, and a blatantly STUPID way to do it. Racing through a RESIDENTIAL area is a blantantly STUPID way of doing it. Then posting videos of the same on the internet as if it is something to be proud of only adds to the stupidity of the act and the implied stupidity of the person engaged in said act.

Did I mumble any slurs this time? Was I clear enough?

You are and have been clear in the past. You are the old fart who gives everyone shit for street racing. You use your age as a tool and call people who do races like these young stupid kids. I dont speak for everyone else but i find you coming into these threads and making comments like I hope you reach your 17th birthday to be annoying after the 50th thread. We get it your old, wise and crabby.

Your like the old clint eastwood, do you ever find yourself saying in a deep raspy voice GET OFF MY LAWN.

    Ok.

Hey, wanna go for a run with this old fart? Uh....on foot.

You use your age as a tool and call people who do races like these young stupid kids.
I'd say you've pretty much hit the nail on head with that one.....though some are only 16 in their actions, but are much older by the calendar.

Good. Maybe you'll think about it.

We get it your old, wise and crabby.
Grammar aside.....I'll take the old and perhaps occasionally wise, but the crabby parts only comes out when I see this sort of thing.

    Know what I mean, Vern?

Your like the old clint eastwood, do you ever find yourself saying in a deep raspy voice GET OFF MY LAWN.
Hmmmm............nope, but I'll take it under advisement, and I certainly like many of the "old" Eastwood films.

    Old....you know.
