He wont get you off the line. His truck is heavy as a motherfucker. Not to mention its a diesel so its even heavier.

You better hope all he has is a shitty tune. If hes running exhaust or propane he might supprise you a bit. Just Dont Screw up the launch! I've seen quiet a few banks kit 250's burn 12's in the 1/4, not to mention the black cloud that appears over the track after they run lol

If they run 12's in the half mile you better stay away cause that's one nasty truck lol!

    drivers' morale daily.
    Destroying Mustang-

there's an f250 diesel here in town, runs against cars all the time (i think there are still pics on their website, just google St. Joe Diesel), trashes most of em in the 1/4...and it's a tune upgrade with propane injectors (or somethin like that...who knows, i don't drive diesels)...anyways, this guy can smoke all 4 tires, and once the tires are warmed, he'll hook like hell and flat out GETS IT...raced a bone-stock Z06, and only lost by a car length the the 1/4 (didn't see it myself, but i've heard from 4 people who watched in person )...be careful, those tuners they put on diesels can produce massive powerhouses in both HP and torque...

Not that hard to get diesels into the 13's or 12's.

Still, it's a truck. Big black clouds means stinky diesel to me. How quick can it stop? How can it go around a corner? 4-wheeling is one thing, that is fun for sure. But, for go fast, give me my F-body. Much sexier....and to the OP, I think you would destroy him too. I guess it is easier to get laid in a truck, using the bed with a mattress in it.

As long as its just a 7.3 with a tune you will win, watch out for the 6.0s though. Those things flat move with just an exhaust and tune!

I understand what your saying but how well do our cars tow, how comfortably can you fit 4 adults, and when was the last time an fbody gain 150 hp by simply tuning it. I give diesels all the respect they deserve. It's amazing when a 6,000 lbs truck can run 12's.

Because you can run with quick cars and turn around tow your boat and fit 4-5 adults comfortable. As far as stopping quickly, most trucks have good breaks. If your not happy with them you can always upgrade, just like an fbody.

Well an Fbody has the engine capability of towing as much as a LOT of trucks out there.

your comparing apples to oranges. the motor itself has very little to do with towing abbilities. a diesel vs 5.7? not even close.

A motor has little to do with it? So you're saying a 4 cylinder truck can tow heavy shit? lmao. The motor has a LOT to do with it.
