why did Mike from GM parts direct say he would PM a discount code?

I posted up about my power steering pump Mike from GM parts PMs me says when you'r ready to order he'll send a discount code sine I'm a LS1.com member what a joke I've emailed him at his customer service email and have PMed him a few times here at LS1.com

never heard back w/ a discount code.

I did hear back from Scott he mentioned that I haven't placed my order (that after I sent them my VIN # and they sent a link to place an order) he say's I can have a gift another joke I don't need a baseball hat advertising GM.

anyway has anyone here actualley recieved a discount code from GM parts direct?
if yes what was the %?

also doe's this sound like a scan that they send a link to place an order? I was only expecting a part #.

I have ordered from these folks once before however this was ten years ago. so I'm like confussed.
