Profile Email Account

Currently the email address being used will terminate at the end of the year. I have a Hotmail email account but the site will not accept it. Is there a way around this without creating a new email address?

The "Edit Email & Password" option doesn't work for you? It could be that the site's spam settings are blocking the change. Do you have a non-hotmail address you can utilize?

Yeah, I make the change and chose save and get this message:

"The administrator has restricted free email addresses like hotmail, yahoo and gmail. Please use your ISP assigned email. To contact the administrator click here."

Our ISP probably offers an email address but we never use them since we are military and move every two or three years or are stationed overseas. I just have the two and was told the one I used for this site will be terminated at the end of 2013. I thought an appeal to the Admin might grant an exception to use the hotmail account.

The restriction was put into place due to heavy spam account activity with hotmail and gmail accounts. We have since been able to utilize spam filters that seem to have addressed the problem. So, we will lift the restriction for those accounts and see how that works.
