Lack of Privileges

Changed passwords, says I am logged in. Went to the convertible site. Get a vBulletin message that I do not have sufficient privileges to get into the site, that I do not have permission to access this page. What do I need to do?

Got the Activation e-mail. I can get into this site, just not others. Would it work if my account was totally wiped out and restart? Don't know what else to do.

I did not get an e-mail that spoke about "activation". The two e-mails were about password reset. Thats all I received. Please send an e-mail of how to rectify the problem.
