    I just did the same. After fighting my Gmail account for 20 minutes because I forgot my password I finally got my new activation number. I don't think your forced into redoing your email address, unless its not current and valid.

    After you do all that, you can click that Red X in the right corner of the notification box to delete it off your screen.

    I'm not sure exactly what "bounced e-mails" are but could it be something to with folks not wanting e-mails sent from this site? I block them because I've posted in so many threads it over loads my inbox. I use my e-mail for my business too. So it takes presidence over most others..

    Yes, its mainly subscriptions. Any notifications the site sends.

    It's either fix the email address or unsubscribe.
