there's several things with this version that pisses me off.......way more buggy than the previous. Click the quick links tab and the menu drops down.....it will normally just disappear the first time and you end up clicking the ad and being directed away from the site. If you put enough characters in the quick reply box to where it scrolls down it will keep going back up when it auto saves if you pause and is a pain in the ass.

I don't have that problem I pretty much navigate through the quick links tab exclusively. I can't say as I have the issue with the quick reply either. When we first upgraded, I was having all sorts of problems. But, not so much anymore. I only use Firefox for this site now though. Most of my issues seemed to be with ie8 and ie9.

I'm using Firefox and also don't have that problem.

I think the quick links menu is because the site takes too long to load so by the time it's loading I've already clicked the quick menu and then it finishes loading causing the menu to disappear. The reply box almost has to be due to the auto save feature saving it but that's a major pain in the ass. If I pause for a minute to look something up or something like that it goes back to the top of the conversation and when I scroll back to the bottom it won't stay there.....it keeps popping to the top.

basically....this version for me has been junk since we changed. There's also some funky resolution thing going on with the icons above the reply box. I thought maybe someone here changed the resolution on the pc but it's only for those boxes. I'll take a screen shot here in a bit and show you what I'm talking about.

That's weird. I wonder if it has more to do with your browser than the site?

hopefully this will show up right

that's exactly how they look on here appearance wise....I didn't zoom in on those at all. I've checked my resolution settings on the pc and it's not those. Can't figure it out. During the superbowl weekend there were a couple kids playing games on this so if they changed something I can't find what it was and the only thing effected were those icons.

Yeah, that is definitely not right. It's got to be some sort of settings issue.

It's slower than the old but I run WIN7 64 with all the bells and wistles plus a graphics card for gameing and IE9 and don't have any visual problems.
I'm also familier with this setup though as a couple other car sites I belong to were useing this type of setup before LS1.com was so I get around pretty easily.
Only issue I still have but can live with is when I custom up my profile with colors and pics, the colors always seem to revert back to original and back ground pics are placed dirrectly under all the adds.
Again, aside from that I'm ok with the setup.

I should add the site runs fine on my netbook too.

If it's any consolation, I'm using a laptop that is 8 years old and only has 512MB of memory and it's pretty quick even on my laptop. No resolution problems either.
