Red/Sliver- 2000
Admin please read!
I am very new here and enjoy the site already. However I have had problems with loading pictures. I was told to open a photobucket account and load from there. I did try but was unable to make it work. (also this takes alot of time to load etc)I have had this problem on another site, and after many requests to have the format changed,I finally just stopped useing the site. I realize this may cost some time and $$ but as much as we car lovers enjoy our cars we also enjoy shareing our photos with others, also our time is valuable to us.
I propose a slight fee to cover the cost of upload etc.
If you wish to see a setuo that works well log onto www.nc4x4.com I am a member there and i am sure the admin staff there would be very helpfull if advice were needed. Just log onto the nc site and go to any thread, after you click on the reply icon,a "manage attatchments' icon appears on the screen and clicking on it will take you to a browse menu and upload is quick and easy. I hope all this helps. Thanks, Bob kellyLast edited by Sarge; 05-16-2009 at 12:15 PM.

Tons of members here post pics etc. Works easy and simple. So many post pics here there is no way we can buy all the bandwidth and servers to host all of them like the small site (9000 Members) you link to there. So like most sites...our members "link" to photobucket and the pics load just as fast and easy and LS1.COM (40,000 Members) doesn't have to buy a server farm
I do not understand why this is an issue. It is so simple to post pics utilizing photobucket????

You could also try opening up an account at www.pimpandhost.com. That's what I use when posting pics here and it's always worked like a charm.

Photobucket works fine for me. Takes just a few seconds to upload new photos and it's free.
Why pay a fee?

I pay for hosting myself, but thats me.
to the OP, even if they allowed you to upload here, its going to take the same amount of time (possibly longer) to upload to LS1.com, than it is going to take to upload to photobucket.
Seeing as, photobucket is huge, and quite possibly on a better connection than LS1.com
And it doesn't take any longer to load a pic in a thread with it posted elsewhere.

OK
I stand corrected. It must be me. I have loaded pics to photobucket and right clicked on one, clicked the copy icon, but when I try to paste it to a post, the paste icon is not highlighted? What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Bob

photobucket write up
here's a write up I did for linking to PM's but it works the same for posts. Another way to do it is instead of clicking the direct link and then clicking the yellow pic icon you can copy the img link at photobucket and just paste that. It'll have img your pic /img with brackets around the img and /img.
