Vert Pump Carpet or Cover
I just purchased a 98 Trans Am vert a few weeks ago. It looks as if it is missing the cover or carpet that goes around or over the hydraulic pump. As this being my first vert, I don't know what its suppose to look like here. Anyone have a picture of this? Or better, have this piece for sale?
Side note, I think this has been removed and lost because of the fluid leaking somewhere around the pump. I will hopefully be diagnosing this tomorrow.2000 Trans Am, Pewter, A4 w/ Transgo, Magnaflow, WS9 hood

Navy Blue- 2002 Trans Am WS6 Conv
The cover over the pump has some stiff board backing and a little hatch so you can get to the release valve and see the fluid level. It is a PITA to remove and replace but it definitely dresses up the area. Attachment 24299Attachment 24300

Great! Thanks so much for the info and pics. I would really like to find a replacement; because your right, it does look a lot cleaner with it.
