well whats nada on it and how bad do you have to get rid of it that should get you close to your asking price.

    2000 Camaro SS Convertibl

I don't know why, but I don't think Edmunds or Kelly tend to be accurate on the pricing of SS Camaro's (especially convertibles). I can't remember which one i was checking, but I remember they only added about $600 of value for an 2000 SS (hardtop) over the Z28 of the same year and condition. I think the SS conv. was only valued around $900 more vs. the Z28 'vert counterpart. I'm not trying to dig up a stupid and endless Z28 vs. SS debate here, but I think most agree the resale value of the SS is greater than that. Your best barameter to figure a value is to go to autotrader.com and see what other SS 'verts
are going for in your region. Granted, the sellers on this tend to inflate the value of their cars by a good 10% or so, but atleast it would give you an idea. With the mileage as low as it is on your car, you'll draw some collector's interest, as that is extremely low miles for a 1998. Hopefully, you still have the stock rims for your car. Even though the rims you have look badass, collectors like having the cars as stock as possible.

And another issue is, the top, regardless of how good the car has been cared for 10yr old cloth is 10 year old cloth, sooner, rather than later, a new top will be in order, speaking from someone whos car is just a year older (but prod date was 98!) so I am going down that road now. Nice car, where is it located? A4 or M6?

I think your best bet for a good value is to see the asking prices on the other cars I just dont trust any of the blue book values not only do they change randomly sometimes they dont really account for collectability of the car. As for the topi just put a new top on my 98 but its prod dat was 97 and it wa outside all the time my upholtry guy said that if the car is garage kept the life of the to is increased dramatically and youll know when its time for a new one the material around the window will begin to give

Nice car but it's still a 10 year old car. You will be lucky to get 13.5-14K for it. Unfortunately these cars are depreciating in value not appreciating.

I would think you could get 15-16k for it. I bought a 99 ss vert 6spd from the original owner with 35k on the clock for 13.5. I know of a 2000 z28 6spd vert with 11k on it that sold for 15k. If yours had been around when I was looking I would have paid 15k for it.

to add to my last post, i remember searchin values on one or both of them and they gave like a $1500 difference between a v6 camaro and an ss, with same mileage, etc.
so yea, those values really dont mean anything
