    SFC's

Hi guys, I want to put SFC's hear they're a must have. Want to know what kind best for a vert and how much they will show!! I can't go to the track anymore without a rollbar anyways, just for the mustangs at the red lights!! I should mention that my husband wants to put a supercharger or turbo in my car so keep that in mind.
    thanks for your input

I have Kenny Browns on my '99 T/A Vert. You reall can't see them unless you get on your hands & knees and they really made a difference in body torque.

Depends on the car.. the Firebird/TA side skirts are designed differently than the Camaros. The camaros really show the SFC where as on firebirds its more hidden.
Heres a few shots of BMR weld-ins on my Convertable Z

I'm interested in SFC's also. Are the SLP bolt ons any good? Are they better welded? What brand is best performance wise?

I would stay away from Bolt on SFC's...especially if you do any racing. Get them welded in and forget about them. I have BMR SFC's and Tower Bar. They are a must have. Before I got them my dash cracked one night at the track from the body twist. That was all the encouragement I needed to get my happy tail down to the Speed Shop.

Ya, I could see learning a lesson there. Thanks for the info. Did you have to get an alignment at all?

If you mean were my tires alligned, oh yeah. I have a waranty type of thing with my tire shop. I pay them a flat fee annually and I get them to allign my tires whenever I want it done. I think it's important if you routinely travel 115mph down the track! LOL.

I have bolt in Don Gontez and I must say it made a big difference on my car. I like the fact I can remove them if I have to with no problems.
