    Rear seatbelt slack?

My rear seat belts wont go all the way back in to take up slack.
Anyone know what the fix is for this?

    Thanks

I have read several Threads that have started this question but none have given an answer.
Has anyone adjusted or replaced these and fixed the problem?

They do list the restaints on GMPARTSDIRECT.Com for $53 and change.

I would first pull the panel and check to make sure there is nothing in the mechanism that is keeping them from going back in. There is a weight in there that releases them to make them retract.

I don't know how often you give people rides in the back seat but seeing as how its a convertible I figured I would throw this in. When ever I'm driving my car I ALWAYS have the seats *which are not in use* tied in I just can't stand the noise that the belts make in the wind and bumps...

not a solution but certainly a good trait I think...

My drivers side front does the same thing and it drives me nuts, for $50 I would gladly pay that to solve this issue, my rears are fine, FWIW
