Hi everyone, thought I would post for my first time. have gotton alot of good ideas and info i needed for my car in the LS1 forum.
I am the origianl owner of a 2002 Artic White WS6 convertible. all origonal except wipers, turn signal housings and lamps and battery.
It has 32000 miles on it, garage kept and just driven in nice weather. wish I could direct post a pic. Even tires are original. Next thing I want to
get is the GM build # and SLP build#. I work at GM also, funny huh.

I have all papers from dealer they had for car because I asked.

Im from Michigan and glad to Intro myself.

Hi Phil. You will be able to post pictures after your post count goes up (since you used a photobucket link, I was able to edit your picture for you). If you work at GM, you shouldn't have any problems getting the build numbers. You can call SLP and they can help you out also.

Any plans on what you are going with for sneakers? I have my eye on the Mickey Thompson Street Comps right now.

Not sure yet except they have to be Z rated with good wear and traction. At least as good as the eagles

I guess I don't really need z rated but am looking at either BFG comps or Goodyear F1 A. Balancing price and value, I don't race it I just cruse and get on it sometimes. I bought the car new and trying to keep it as original as possible so it will have the garage find aww factor. it is a cool car and to stay stock is rare. I know it would be bad ass if I put a few things into it but I would rather build one than convert this one. My wife would kill me if I altered this one. if I bought another one to build she would be fine with that.

I love the Gyr Eagle F1 GSD3's but be aware that they are starting to phase them out. You should still be able to get them just shy of $300.00 each. I have been happy with my Continental Extremecontact DW's at $225.00 each, the tires feel like they have more stick that the suspension/chasis does (guess what I am buying next). I had BFG Super Sport AS's the last two tire changes before, cheaper and better in the cold, but nowhere close on the smile-meter in performance.

I'm a big fan of the Bridgestone Potenza RE760, I've had them on my car for 2 years now and will be getting them again when its time. They handle great and the are asymmetrical so they can be rotated which was a big reason I went with them. They run about $140 a tire, which is much cheaper than the good years.

    Great looking T/A btw!

I have the BFG KDWs after using nittos for years. Nitto only comes in drag radials for the size wheels I have now. The car is just a cruiser but KDWs do just fine for my application and look pretty good.

Those tires really do look amazing on a fbody. The tread design is pretty killer.

I will definitely do some more homework, thanks for the tips and advice. Its a tough decision because once done its done.
Last year I replaced my front turn signal housings because they cracked. Because of a post on here I was able to convert to led bulbs and a electronic/manual relay and didn't have to hack wires. Works great.
