    New Convertible Top

Does anyone know of any places to buy a new OEM color rag top for my SS, and anywhere recommended to have it installed around the CT area?

convertibles are as pricey to take care of as corvettes are to their aftermarket accessories..Noone should half ass the money spending for verts....unfortanetly i did...but thats cuz at the time i was still in high school when some dumb beaner kid tore a hole in my top to steal ma shit..i looked for the cheapest in price top..i found this one (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...em280194461654) and honestly....when you hear "you get what you payed for "..this top Item Doesnt apply to that phrase...im still wondering why it was that much....had it for atleast 6 months i think..and still looks like new..im happy with the results..but doubt i would ever buy anything that cheap again

Have to say I agree, I've heard of too many nightmares where you try to cut corners on cost with Vert Tops and it ends up costing way more in the end. Thats the price we pay for being cooler than the hard tops
