Need help, top won't go down!

Not that I'll be wanting to put it down because it's sleeping for the winter but I want to have it ready for the spring. When I push the button to go down nothing happens, no noise or movement. But if hit push it to go up I can hear the motor. What could be the problem? switch? wireing? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The Switch if it doesn't make any noise when you push it to go down.

Motor working in only one direction, almost HAS to be the switch.

It should be fairly easy to get to the top switch, the small panel its mounted in should just pull out. Remove the connector from the back of the switch, then you can test or replace it.

Can't talk to getting the console out, mine's an M6. Probably a pin holds the A4 shift handle on the shaft somewhere.
