    How rare is this?

    Guys,

    Just bought this...

well, won't let me link to the site since I'm a noob...anyway if you go to autotrader and type in 28311 for the zip and do a 200 mile search on a 1998 TA it'll pop up. It's the vert with 22K miles listed for $14.8

I was told it was a special order car. I have everything since new. 60 year old female owner. Anyway, it's kinda weird cuz the seats don't have the ribs all other T/As I've ever seen do on the sides. Never seen another with this color combo. Love the car and this is my first post and first LS1. Let the games begin!

My 98 has ribs on the seats...........after seeing that one I wish it didn't. That is a rare color combination, mine was a triple white which was also kinda rare. Personally I like the white leather, but the white top is a bitch.

    Slow,

I meant to post back here. I think I've seen ribs on the older cars as well, so I'm not sure that is a true statement.

This is the first white top car I've owned...what is the secret for keeping it clean and cleaning it if it's a little dirty?

Triple white huh? Man, I'm glad I don't have that...beautiful car I'm sure, but too much I'd think.

Yeah, mine is gorgeous. Now I just need to make sure I can get it clean and keep it that way.

When I got mine the top was already a little dirty, so I haven't had experience with trying to keep a pristine top in pristine condition. I've seen a lot of things recommended, including a recent post about Mr. Clean magic erasers. The others I have seen include soft scrub, lacquer thinner, tire foam, steel wool and a household abrasive cleaner. Obviously all that stuff is going to be detrimental if you use it regularly on the top. I would only use that stuff on a top that wasn't in perfect shape and needed some help getting back to white. If it's already a clean white, the "safest" and best recommendation I have seen is the Haartz ragtop cleaner, followed by 303 Protectant.
