Convertibles Hush Gear Whine
Well well . Just discovered another reason to get a vert. over a coupe . My street warrior has a wicked rear end gear whine. But with the top down cruisin you can't hear it.
Top up you just have to turn up the Monsoon & install a loud mouth exhaust system . Problem solved .

LOL,,,I have found everything quieter in the verts with the top up compared to a rear hatch car.
Had a few rear hatch cars and I always had a slight amount of road noise from the back. But on the verts the trunk is closed off and seperated from the passenger compartment,,,,hence a quieter ride from my experience.
Ever take the small plastic panel out from the rear deck on a convertable? Things get noisier in a hurry. Been Verts for me ever since. (well that and T-tops have always been a pain in the rump to me)

Agreed . I actually like the idea of the t-top , its just such a problem to store them when compared to a Vert with a button to push.
